Abstract: Information on local property standards for assisted multifamily housing and care-type facilities is collected from state and local governments to assess the equivalency of their existing housing standards in meeting HUD's minimum requirements. If such State or local codes are deemed equivalent, HUD assisted properties need only comply with such equivalent codes.
