The majority of
burden in this paperwork is the price breakdown clause of the
modification proposals. While an increase from 0 percent to 50
percent submitted electronically is indicated, it is not adequate
to meet the GPEA deadline. Therefore, this paperwork is approved
with the understanding that DoD will work to educate its
contracting officers so they have a better under- standing of
permissability of electronic submission of price breakdowns and
will work to increase the percent submitted electronically beyond
the 50 percent level.
