Approval is for two years which should give NIH more than
sufficient time to complete this collection. As a rule, NIH should
do its pilots such as the one referred to in the 9-18-01 memo prior
to OMB submission so that OMB review can be as thorough as
possible.

This study will investigate the
validity and reliability of exposure assessments based on
occupational history questionnaires supplemented with job modules
as compared to exposure assessments made based on actual workplace
measurements. The results will be used to assess the potential
magnitude of misclassification in case-control studies using thes
types of questionnaires.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
