The proposed study deals with issues
of importance to HCFA regarding coverage and payment for
store-and-forward telemedicine. The major objective of this study
is to assess the medical effectivenss, diagnostic accuracy, and
effect on utilization costs of this technology when applied to
dermatology. The already approved aspects of this project address
the use of interactive video for providing specialty consultation,
and with a survey of physician attitudes toward and knowledge of
