Section 76.614 requires that cable television operators transmitting carriers in the frequency bands 108-137 and 225-400 MHz shall provide for a program of regular monitoring for signal leakage by substantial covering the paint every three months. Section 76.1706 requires cable operators to maintain a long showing the date and location of each signal leakage source identified pursuant to Section 76.614, the date on which the leakage was repaired, and the probable cause of the leak. The log must be kept on file for two years and made available to representatives authorized by the FCC.
