Exotic Newcastle disease and
Chlamydiosis are world wide diseases of birds and poultry that are
foreign to the U.S. and the most severe threat to the U.S. poultry
industry. 9 CFR 82 provides for the conditions under which these
diseases would be quarantined and how uninfected birds or poultry
in quarantine can be moved interstate.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
