Exotic Newcastle disease and Chlamydiosis are world wide diseases of birds and poultry that are foreign to the U.S. and the most severe threat to the U.S. poultry industry. 9 CFR 82 provides for the conditions under which these diseases would be quarantined and how uninfected birds or poultry in quarantine can be moved interstate.
