The collected data will be used to guide current and future efforts of the CDC funded Cardiovascular Health State Program, which funds States to reduce cardiovascular disease disparities in minority and low-income populations through policy and environmental interventions designed to improve physical activity and nutrition behaviors. The practical utility of the study results are that State Health Departments should be able to more effectively plan, design, and implement culturally appropriate policy and environmental interventions for nutrition and physical activity that promote cardiovascular health........
