Abstract: This request is for a six-month extension of the Upward Bound Fourth Follow Up and the Math Science First Follow Up. These data collections are part of the National Evaluation of Upward Bound that has been on-going since 1992. The studies are following a sample of 4,728 participants and control group students through high school and into young adulthood. The study is looking at academic achievement, college participation rates, and employment patterns.
