Terms of Clearance: Approved. NSF shall use the case studies only as a supplement to the data collected from all programs, and should not consider this case study data to be representative. As agreed on the phone call, NSF will also change the question about hiring of PFF graduates to include a "don't know" answer. NSF shall report to OMB about the selection of the sites after analysis of the surveys and prior to conducting the site visits.

Abstract: Evaluation of the PFF program across four funded phases and multiple disciplines. Data collected will invlude existing program data and primary data collected through targeted surveys and institutional site visits. In addition to providing an overview of the PFF activities and impact, six case studies of selected PFF sites will be prepared.
