Abstract: The information obtained from the survey and focus groups will provide the TPCC agencies with a clearer picture of the needs of small business exporters. While we have statistical data on the number of small business exporters and where they are located we have little information on what their needs are and how and if the federal government is meeting those needs. Survey will be of approximately 1000 small businesses and focus groups will total 32 firms. These findings will be used to make recommendations as part of the TPCC report to Congress in March 2002.
