The ESA requires monitoring of recovered species after delisting to assure they sustain themselves without the protectios of the ESA. OMB Control No. 1018-0101 (expries on 12/31/01) is for the monitoring of the American peregrine falcon. Monitoring will begin in Spring 2002. We wish to renew this approval and expand it to include anticipated monitoring for all recovered species after delisting.
