FCC 306 is used by MDS operators to transfer control of a Multipoint Distribution Service Authorization. The FCC 306 will collect the information required to evaluate a proposed transferee's qualifications to become a Commission MDS licensee. The data is used by FCC staff to detemrine if the applicant is qualified to become a Commission licensee or permittee and to carry out the statutory provisions of Section 301(d) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended.
