surveys and, if the response rates fall below 75 percent, take
action to increase response rate. The agency should remember to
provide Part B of the supporting statement with all collections
that use statistical methodologies, such as this survey, to develop
samples or analyse results.

A telephone survey is conducted of
fishery processor, joint venture companies, and fishermen's trade
associations in the Pacific Northwest to determine the tonnage of
fish processed or harvested, and their estimated tonnage for the
next year. The information is used to help form allocations of
groundfish quotas.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
