Abstract: To ensure that shipyard personnel do not enter confined spaces that contain oxygen deficient, toxic or flammable atmospheres, qualified (competent) personnel must test such spaces. Information provides individuals deemed qualified by the employer to conduct such tests, plus results and instructions.
