collection
These surveys
are approved with the following terms: The agency may not use quota
sampling. The agency must track response rate for each survey and
report this information to OMB upon resubmission. The agency may
use surveys labeled 'Pilot', but only if there are no changes to
the survey. All reporting of the data collected with these surveys
must clearly state that the results may not be representative of
the population.

In the interest of sound management,
DOS ECA/P undertakes the collection of information about exchange
program effectiveness necessary to the management and evaluation of
DOS-funded international educational and cultural exchange
programs. DOS seeks clearance from OMB for these information
(evaluation- related) collection activities among alumni, current
participants applicants, program administrators, hosts, and other
related to ECA exchange programs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
