note for PLUS loans. Upon resubmission, ED should submit the
multi-year notes and the current notes for clearance, since not all
schools will have the technical capabilities to institute the
multi-year note immediately. ED has assured OMB that they should
have the multi-year note running by the 2003-04 school year.

If an applicant for a Federal Direct
PLUS Loan is determined to have an adverse credit history and
obtains end endorser, this form is the means by which an endorser
agrees to repay the loan if the borrower does not repay
it.
