The Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA or the Agency) is today promulgating amendments to the
regulations governing Corrective Action Management Units.
Corrective Action Management Units (CAMUs) are special units
created under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) to
facilitate treatment, storage, and disposal of hazardous wastes
managed for implement- ing cleanup, and to remove the disincentives
to cleanup that the application of RCRA to these wastes can
sometimes impose.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
