Per
communication with FCC personnel, initial burden estimates were
based upon overestimates of the universe that would be affected by
this collection. Burden estimates which orginally included a
universe of 116,494 carriers and 83,506 state and local government
entities have been considerbly reduced to only those carriers_that
do no currently provide 911 service. The frequency of reporting was
also reduced from quarterly to two reports.
