Abstract: The United States Patent and Trademake Office (USPTO) records patent and trademark assignment documents, including transfers of properties (i.e., patents and trademarks), liens, licensee, assignments of interest security interests, mergers, and other documents that show the transfer of owership of applications, patents, or trademarks from one entity to another.
