NIOSH plans to conduct a stud to quantify the risk for upper limb and low back MSDs at varying levels of exposure to physical job stressors. The study will involve 3 surveys conducted annually of 2000 workers in service and manufacturing industries with job tasks that represent a range of exposure to physicial job stressors.
