The National Indian Gaming Commission
requires a yearly independent audit report and testing for
compliance with federal minimum internal control standards. The
Commission uses the information to evaluate risk of noncompliance
by specific gaming operations and to effectively allocate resources
to ensure compliance is achieved by the operations
identified.
