ACF will provide information when publishing or presenting results regarding the limitations of the data collected. At a minimum, ACF will explicitly acknowledge 1) the limitations of drawing conclusions about the effect of PSSF implementation on child and family outcomes and 2) the inability to generalize from the case study, as selected respondents may not be representative of Indian Tribes that do or do not receive PSSF funding. Approval is for one year.

The purpose of this study is to examine the ways in which Indian Tribes used funds they received under title IV-B, subpart 2 to provide services that strengthen families' abilities to care for their children. Additionally, a range of related child welfare issues with respect to Indian Tribes will be explored.
