Reinstatement without change of a previously approved
collection
OMB approval for
this collection expired in January 2001, and VA has been collecting
this information in violation of the Paperwork Reduction Act. In
the future, VA should take great care to make sure that all it's
information collection activities have valid OMB control
numbers.

An individual who participates in the
Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty and who serves on active duty for
two years followed by six years in the Selected Reserve must chose
(elect) to apply the Selected Reserve toward either the Montgomery
GI Bill - Active Duty or the Montgomery GI Bill - Selected
Reserve.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
