Fostering citizenship and development
of those who participate in National Service is a central purpose
of the Corporation for National Community Service. the study will
look at the effects of service on members who serve in two
AmeriCorps programs: State and National and the National Civilian
Community Corps (NCCC). Phase One baseline and Phase Two
post-program data collection, already approved by OMB, were
completed in March 2000 and March 2001, respectively. While all
phases of the study will assess the effects of AmeriCorps
participation on members, the proposed new Phase Three PPSS survey
will provide...
