Abstract: TVA was charged by the 1933 TVA Act to improve the navigability of the Tennessee River and to provide for the agricultural and industrial development of the valley. To accomplish its mission, TVA needs to periodically gather data concerning location, condition and other information on river terminals for use in marketing to industrial client.
