Abstract: 30 CFR 745 requires that States submit information when entering into a cooperative agreement with the Secretary of the Interior. OSM uses the information to make findings that the State has an approved program and will carry out the responsibilities mandated in the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act to regulate surface coal mining and reclamation activities.
