Abstract: Participants in the marine fishing industry, including vessel owners, operators and fish dealers, who wish to participate in controlled Northeast Regional fisheries must apply for and obtain permits. Persons obtaining permits may also be subject to certain notification, tagging, and other requirements. The request affects collections associated with the Lobster Fishery Management Plan (FMP), the Monkfish FMP, the Spiny Dogfish FMP, Amendment 1 to the Bluefish Fishery Management Plan, and Frameworks 24, 27, 32 and 33 to the Multispecies FMP.
