This information is reqired to
implement several Acts of Congress concerning the record of minimg
claims, annual maintenance of such claims, collection of statutory
location and maintenance fee and adjudication of mineral rights
under the General Mining Law of 1872, the Federal Land Policy and
Management Act of 1976 and the Stockraising Homestead Act amendmnts
of 1993. Affected persons are the owners of unpatented mining
claims, mill sites, and tunnel sites located and held on public and
other Federal mineral estates in the United States.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
