Abstract: Form BQ-3 is required by law and is designed to collect timely information on international portfolio capital movements, including maturities of selected US dollar and foreign currency liabilities of depository institions, bank and financial holding companies, brokers and dealers. This information is necessary for compiling US balance of payments accounts, complying with internatinal daa reporting standards and formulating US inter- natinal financial and monetary policies.
