C.F.R Part 1406 under Section 27(e) of
the Consumer Product Safety Act, 15 U.S.C. 2076(e) requires
labeling and instruction manuals for coal and wood burning stores,
free standing fireplace similar appliances. There is also a
one-time requirement that manufacturers provide copies of the
notice (label) and the instrutions as well as an explanation of how
the appropriate clearance distances were determined for each stove
model manufactured.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
