Abstract: Implementing our various quarantines often requires us to collect information from individuals and inspectors involved in growing, packing, handling, inspecting, treating, importing, and transporting plants and plant products. When new commodities are approved to enter the US, we collect information about the commodity before entry of each shipment. The information we collect serves as supporting documentation ensuring that injurious plant diseases and insect pests to do not enter or spread within the US.
