Abstract: This rule imposes two neew information collection requirements. The first new requirement is the import certificate as support documentation or exports destined to Convention Signatores. The ultimate consignee obtains this import certifiate from the government of the importing country and transmits the original to the U.S. exporter. Without an import certificate, BXA will not approve the license. The second new requirement is the imposition of a licensing requirement for Firearms Convention items destined to Canda, a Convention Signatory. Previously, such items were exported to Canda without a license. ........................
