orders are approved with the following two deletions: (1) the
questions regarding the number of doors on vehicles and (2) the
expiration date. OMB notes that the agency's original submission
did not include the draft special orders. Any future submissions
that are incomplete will be returned to the agency as improperly
submitted.

The RMA (Rubber Manufacturers
Association) has petitioned NHTSA to adopt a tire pressure reserve
requirement in FMVSS 110. In order to asses the validity of such a
request and appropriately reponds, NHTSA must solicit current tire
pressure reserve and failure data from the manufacturers of both
vehicles and tires.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
