Abstract: 47 CFR Section 21.913(e) requires each applicant for an MDS signal booster station to obtain written permission from the iicensee of each MDS, ITFS, and OFS station whose signal is retransmitted. Section 21.913(g) permits an MDS or ITFS licensee to install and commence operation of low power signal booster stations without a formal application, but the licensees must submit a certification within 48 hours of installation of the booster station to demonstrate compliance with the various components of section 21.913(g).
