The Wool Act Regulations require
accurate disclosure of material information about wool products.
They also require manufacturers and other marketers of covered
products to keep records showing compliance with the Wool Products
Labeling Act. Potential purchasers rely upon disclosed fiber
content and country of origin information to make informed
purchasing decisons. Record- keeping provides a means to mnoitor
and substantiate claims.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
