Abstract: The information collected is required so that the Department can determine whether alternative fuel providers are in compliance with the Alternative Fuel Providers Vehical Acquisition Mandate (Section 501 of the Energy Policy Act (EPACT),42 U.S.C. 13251). whether States are in compliance with the State Fleet Mandate (EPACT, Section 507(o);42 U.S.C. 13257) and in determining whether fleet owner/operators should be awarded credits under the Alternative Fueled Vehicle Credits Program (EPACT, Section 508; 42 U.S.C. 13258).
