This ICR is
approved for three years. When EPA resubmits the ICR for renewal,
it should be certain include the following elements: (1) Costs in
this ICR are amoritized over a 10 year period. The final year in
which ammoritized costs are assigned is 2008. The agency should
continue to include these amortized costs in future requests to
extend thes ICR. (2) Costs should be revised, as appropriate, to
incorporate changes resulting from implementation of the National
Ambient Air Monitoring Strategy. (3) Burden elements should be
revised to incorporate all regulatory or program implementation
changes. Each renewal should involve a check by EPA to see if the
projected burden reflects the actual "in practice" burden.
