DPHSDR, PHPPO, DCD proposes to collect, analyze, and disseminate data on the public health infrastructure and performance of local health jurisdictions. Data will be bsed on the ten essential public health services. Data will be used to (1) monitor progress toward accomplishment of national infrastructure objec- tives included in Healthy People 2010, and (2) for quality improvement and strategic planning by health officials/policy makers.
