Approved for one
month. OMB has granted one month approval, provided that upon
resubmission DHS will address the previous terms of clearance.
Previous terms of clearance required that DHS meet with OMB to
discuss plans for electronic submission of this and other forms.
The plan will include (1) a description of how this information
will be electronically filed and (2) a timeline and justification
for that timeline for electronic submission. Further, DHS will
determine whether this form requires revisions, additions, or if
this form is necessary at all, given F and J nonimmigrant
regulatory and statutory requirements. The resubmitted form will
include a PRA burden statement. OMB notes that the previous terms
of clearance were not met. DHS will ensure that all terms of
clearance will be addressed in future PRA information collection
requests.
