NIST is investigating te technical
reasons for the callapse of World Trade Center 1, 2,and 7, why
theinjuries were so high or low, depending on location, identifying
the procedures and practices used in the World Trade Center, and
review building codes. Lists of contract information (name,
address, telephone number) for (1) occupants of World Trade Center
1,2, and 7 presen on the morning of September 11, 2001, will be
generated through the employees, and (2) family members of victims
of the World Trade Center disaster who communicated with loved ones
after the first aircraft impact will self identify to
NIST.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
