Abstract: EPA solicits verbal quotes from potential vendors when a requirement arises for supplies and services and the value under the simplified acquisition threshold. Vendors responses are voluntary and generally consist of item name, unit cost, delivery terms, company name, small business status, address, phone number and point of contact. EPA uses the collected information to make award decisions to obtain needed supplies and services.
