In accordance
with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for a
period of two years. However, the agency must provide to OMB a copy
of the findings of the joint FSA/RMA data reconciliation team and
any recommendations that were made as a result of this effort. The
agency must also provide to OMB copies of any forms mailed to
producers and any materials that accompany the forms. Furthermore,
the agency must also provide to OMB a copy of any instructions or
materials related to the implementation of the national acreage
reporting database. The agency should also investigate whether
duplicative information collection can be reduced by including
other Federal Agencies (e.g., the Bureau of Reclamation) in the
development of the acreage reporting database.
