which may result in changes to the Standard. If employers begin to
use the PSDI, OSHA must submit a Change Worksheet Request (83-I) to
OMB to account for the increase in burden.

Presence sensing device initiation
(PSDI0 is no longer prohibited. To assure the safety of the system,
the rule requires a certification program. Manufacturers and
employers who choose to use PSDI will have to maintain some records
in order to meet the requirements of the standard.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
