Abstract: We have already collected an extensive data set, including psychiatric diagnoses, socioeconomic data and DNA, on nearly 300 individuals from an American Indian tribe. We propose to extend the study to collect intermediate EEG and EKP phenotypes for alcoholism and personality dimensions from the same tribal members in order to better determine genes for alcoholism and anxiety disorders.
