Abstract: 47 CFR Section 73.61 requires that AM stations with directional antennas make field strength measurements and partial proofs of performance. Data are used by licensees to ensure adequate interference protection is maintaind and that antenna is operating properly and by FCC staff in field inspections/ investigations.
