This information collection requires manufacturers of passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks and buses with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or less, except those vehicles with dual wheels on an axle, to report to the agency the number of vehicles manufactured in compliance with FMVSS N. 138, Tire pressure monitoring systems. The reporting periods are as follows: August 5, 2002 to October 31, 2004; November 1, 2004 to October 31, 2005; and November 1, 2005 to October 31, 2006.
