Several large outbreaks of infectious
diseases have occurred at venues where the public has contact with
farm animals. Because so little is known about current practices at
fairs and petting zoos, CDC seeks to conduct a survey of such
venues to determine current practices regarding the risk of
zoonotic infection among visitors. We seek to distribute the survey
to all USDA-licensed petting zoos as well as all state and country
fair in the U.S. that are members of the International Association
of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE), the largest such organization in
the country. We would like to determine how many facilities
