Abstract: As authorized by law, BIA provides a form which allows applicants to receive documentations of degree of Indian blood and uniform standards by which we issue, amend, or invalidate a CDIB. The Bureau issues CDIBs to assist individuals in establishing their eligibility for programs and services based upon their status as American Indians and/or Alaska Natives.
