Prior to the
next submission of the FAFSA for approval under the PRA, ED will
conduct a feasibility analysis of consolidating all electronic
FAFSA solutions to FAFSA on the Web (FOTW). Specifically, OMB
remains concerned that the FAFSA component of EDExpress is
potentially redundant with FOTW. No later than June 30, 2004, ED
will brief OMB on the results of the feasibility analysis and
provide, if applicable, a timeline for consolidating the two
electronic application tools.
