In Puerto Rico, where dengue is
endemic and intermittently epidemic, there are high levels of
awareness about dengue and its prevention in the population, but
additional efforts are needed to covert this knowledge into
practice (behavior change). To achieve this, a model needs to be
developed for community participation that can be effectively
implemented to prevent and control dengue. The goal of this dengue
prevention project is to develop and evaluate a community
participation intervention model to redue Aedes aegypti
infestations in a community in Puerto Rico. Two
